The National Association of Odùduwà Students (NAOS) has congratulated Brigadier General Mohammed Buba Marwa (Rtd.) on his reappointment as chairman of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA).

In a statement signed by its National President, Olalere Benedict Adetunji, the association described Marwa’s reappointment as a reflection of national confidence in his leadership.

NAOS noted that the NDLEA has recorded significant gains in drug control efforts under Marwa’s stewardship, citing improvements in operations and public engagement.

The group also acknowledged the agency’s initiatives aimed at promoting drug awareness and youth sensitisation, saying these efforts have contributed to safer communities and increased enlightenment among students.

As a youth-focused organisation, NAOS said it remains committed to partnering with the NDLEA on anti-drug campaigns, campus sensitisation programmes and other advocacy activities across tertiary institutions in Yorubaland and beyond.

The association wished Marwa success in his new term and reaffirmed its support for initiatives that promote youth development and a drug-free society.
