Nasarawa, coy signs MoU for meter production plant

The Nasarawa State Government and Marks & Adams Investment Limited have signed an MoU to establish a meter producing plant in the state.

Speaking shortly before the signing of the project documents, the Managing Director of Nasarawa Investment and Development Agency, Mr Ibrahim A. Abdullahi, said the signing of the MoU was a scale-down but will be enhanced during the ground-breaking when the Minister of Power and the Central Bank of Nigeria Governor will be invited to the state.

The MD noted that there is a huge market for the product and the government will use the meter project to bridge the metering gap in the country. 

He stressed that the government had painstakingly worked for the project, adding that the Agency is alive to its responsibilities and mindful of investors’ needs adding that the agency would post signing consultation for the successful execution of the project. 

The Managing Director  led the government team while the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Marks & Adams Investment Limited, Prince Mark Elayo, Turakin Keana led his team.
