A new commissioner of police has been deployed to Nasarawa State. Adebola Emmanuel Longe assumed his new command position on December 24, 2018.
Longe, who took over from CP Yahaya Bello, graduated from the University of Ibadan, where he obtained BSc, MSc, LL.B and M.A.
He joined the Nigeria Police on March 15, 1988 and has served the force in different capacities. He was commissioner of police, Office of the Force Secretary, Force Headquarters, Abuja, before he was posted to Nasarawa State Police Command.
