A bus conveying intending 2023 Hajj pilgrims from Nasarawa State to Abuja for airlifting to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia Wednesday was involved in a road accident.
Daily Trust gathered that the incident occurred around Kara in the Keffi Local Government Area of the state.
Confirming the ugly incident in an interview with newsmen in Lafia, the state capital, the Executive Secretary of the State Pilgrims Welfare Board, Mr Idris Ahmed-Al-Makura, said that the intending pilgrims involved in the accident were in good health.
He said the board had been in touch with the victims and doctors had already certified them fit to continue with the journey.

He revealed that a total of 2,100 intending pilgrims comprised of 1,300 males and 800 females would perform the pilgrimage.
