The Nasarawa-Onda-Kana-Apawu road project involving bridges construction, grading and construction of drains to empty storm waters away, was initiated late year.
The people of Onda-Kana Ward used to take longer routes to reach various destinations.
 But the road, which cost was put at about N6 million, now provides the people with a shorter route to Nasarawa, the local government headquarters, according to Madaki Etaguna, leader of Onda-Kana Youths Association.
The lawmaker told Daily Trust that his vision and commitment was borne out of, and strengthened by the support of the people of the area.
