Three prominent persons in Nasarawa State died on Sunday night at different locations in the state.

Three prominent persons in Nasarawa State died on Sunday night at different locations in the state.

They are Alhaji Halilu Envuluanza who, until his death, held the traditional title of Makama Eggon.

The late Alhaji Envuluanza, a recipient of the national award of Member of the Federal Republic (MFR), died in Nasarawa Eggon Local Government Area.

Among his children are Alhaji Danladi Halilu Envuluanza, former Executive Secretary, National Judicial Council and Justice Yusuf Halilu Envuluanza, Judge of the  FCT High Court

Also, the Chief of Nunku, Alhaji Adamu Muhammad, died on the same day in Akwanga Local Government Area.

Also reported dead is the Matawallen Lafia, Alhaji Ibrahim Dahiru, a retired permanent secretary and traditional title, who died in Lafia, the state capital.

They have all been buried according to Islamic rites.
