The forum said the e-payment system which was introduced late last year, has improved efficiency in payment of workers’ salaries.
Chairman of the forum, Prince Uthman Aliyu, who led members of the forum to the headquarters of the Media Trust Limited, publishers of the Daily Trust, in Abuja, said with the introduction of the system, primary schools’ teachers in the state now used to get their salaries when due.
He said the system has also reduced the difficulties suffered by teachers, adding: “Before the introduction of the system, we used to go to Keffi to collect our teachers’ salaries, but now teachers have banks alerts whenever their salaries are paid into their accounts.”
