The Nasarawa State Universal Basic Education Board (NSUBEB) has said that it would collaborate with the Nasarawa State Geographic Information Service (NAGIS) to retake school lands grabbed by people illegally.
The Executive Chairman of the Board, Mallam Abdulkarim Mohammed stated this in Lafia after visiting some schools whose lands were encroached upon. He said school lands grabbed by people would be revoked by NAGIS.
Mohammed also disclosed that the board and NAGIS would secure titles for school lands in the state to avoid some problems experienced when demarcating the boundaries of schools especially those donated by communities without proper delineation.
