The Nasarawa State House of Assembly has supported the move for the upgrading of the state’s School of Nursing, Lafia, to College of Nursing and Midwifery in order to boost healthcare in the state.
The Speaker of the house, Rt Hon Ibrahim Balarabe Abdullahi, revealed this when he received the House Standing Committee on Health Report on a bill for a law to establish the Nasarawa State College of Nursing and Midwifery.

The speaker said, “I will slate 9th of March, 2021, for deliberation on the bill for a law to establish the Nasarawa State College of Nursing and Midwifery and for other matters related thereto.”
