The Nasrul-lahi-l-Fati Society (NASFAT) FCT Zone has inaugurated a new 14-man Zonal Executive Council led by Dr. Nasir Raji Mustapha.
The induction/inauguration of the new Executive Council was anchored and coordinated by national Headquarter through a virtual meeting in compliance with the COVID-19 protocol.
The Zonal Publicity Secretary Alhaji Saliu Abdulwahab, said that this was also in line with the society’s selection process having successfully gone through the Shurah committee evaluation process, Zonal council of Elders recommendation and final ratification by the National Executive Council. The new Zonal chairman, Dr. Nasir Raji, in his acceptance speech thanked Allah for the opportunity to serve. He commended the success and landmark achievements of the immediate past Executive led by Barrister. S.O. Giwa and prayed Allah to reward them with good in this world and hereafter.
He assured that the new executive will build on the track record to take FCT zone and NASFAT in general to a greater height.
He pledged to promote the NEC goal and agenda of ‘HELD’ (health, education, livelihood and Da’wah).
He therefore enjoined all the new executive council members to see their selection as a privilege, trust and a call to serve Allah.
Other members of the executive are Adebayo Adegboye, Vice Chairman; Arc Jegede Ashiru Ishola, Secretary; Imam Aliagan Sharafudeen, Missioner; Okufemi A. Nurudeen, Financial Secretary; Lateef Adeola Yusuf, Internal Auditor; Kadiri Haleemat, Women Affairs Secretary; Lukman Abiodun Afoke, Security Secretary; and Abdulwahab Ademola Adebayo, Welfare Secretary.
Also are Alhaja Bello Apampa Tawakalitu, Education Secretary; Alhaja Rakiya Asipita Abdulazeez, Empowerment Secretary; Surveyor Yisau Oyesiji, Membership Secretary; Alhaji Saliu Abdulwahab Sanni, Zonal Publicity Secretary; and Mallam Ibrahim Tayo Abdulwasiu, Youth Secretary.
