NASFAT mourns Lagos Chief Imam

Engr Kameel Yomi Bolarinwa, the President, Board of Trustees, the National Council of Elders, the Mission Board and the entire members of Nasrul Lahi Fatih Society NASFAT join the entire Ummah in mourning the passage of late Sheikh Garba Akinola Ibrahim, Chief Imam of Lagos, who died on Sunday. 

Bolarinwa described late Sheikh Akinola as a quintessential  cleric whose life was exemplary.

His message was contained in a statement by the Publicity Secretary of the society, Alh Banji Busari.

He further described the deceased as a sincere and truthful man of God who lived all his life upholding the truth as well as striving for love and peaceful co-existence among various peoples irrespective of their ethnic or religious backgrounds

He prayed Almighty Allah to overlook his shortcomings and grant him Aljannah firdaos. “We also pray Allah to grant his family, Lagos State and the entire Ummah the strength to bear the loss”, the President added.
