Nashuni, Tata shun guber debate in Katsina

It was learnt that both candidates were both served an invitation and an acknowledgement to that effect had been received by the organisers but they didn’t show up at the event. Text messages and phone calls were equally made to them according to the organisers but all to no avail.
However, those that appeared include Aminu Masari of APC, Abdulmumin Aliyu of NCP and Yabuku Lado of PDM. Each candidate took fifteen minutes to unveil his manifesto and plans for the state.
In their separate addresses, Masari promised to prioritise education and agriculture to change the fortune of the state, for Aliyu it was a total state of emergency that will be declared on the education sector just as Lado promised to transform the state by ensuring that qualitative education and structures are in place for all.
They equally took time to berate the current administration in the state for its lack of foresight and promised to return it through purposeful leadership.
