The National Assembly has again postponed the resumption of plenary sessions earlier scheduled for Thursday, March 5 to Tuesday, March 10.
In a notice issued to Senators and members of the House on Tuesday, the leadership announced that plenary would now resume on Tuesday, March 10, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.
The statement was signed by the Clerk to the National Assembly, Kamoru Ogunlana.
Members of both chambers were urged to take note of the new date and adjust their official engagements accordingly.
According to the statement, the leadership of the two Houses expressed regret over any inconvenience the change in schedule may cause.
Daily Trust reports that the National Assembly had earlier shifted its resumption from February 24 to March 5.
The postponement according to a statement issued then was to enable Committees of the Assembly to conclude ongoing budget defence sessions.
