Members of the Parliamentary Staff Association of Nigeria (PASAN) on Monday protested at the National Assembly Service Commission over alleged breach of an agreement entered with the National Assembly management over the implementation of the National Minimum Wage Act 2019, among others.
Zonal Vice President of the association, Josiah Labi, said: “We’ve been in this struggle since 2011.

“Before now, it’s as if only the National Assembly Service management that is taking care of whatever we’re doing. But it’s like the struggle is beyond them; so they’ve now transferred the struggle to the commission.
“And the commission was supposed to be on break, but right now, they’re back to help us face every problem headlong.
“So far, the chairman of the commission has taken over every matter and once that matter is over, we’re sure everything will be resolved. We’re very sure before Tuesday, the chairman will give us good news.”
