The CJN said this yesterday during the flag off of enrolment exercise for all the staff of the Supreme Court of Nigeria, National Judicial Council and the Federal Judicial Service Commission by the NIMC at the Supreme Court complex.
 Justice Mukhtar added that the National Identity Database in Nigeria being compiled by NIMC will greatly assist the police and anti-graft agencies in the investigative process of criminal prosecution.
 “The idea of establishing National Identity Database in Nigeria and the current national identity card enrolment exercise is a noble one that would greatly go a long way to help the police and anti-graft agencies in the investigative process of prosecution of criminal matter,” she said.
 The CJN was accompanied by 15 other justices of the Supreme Court, namely Mahmud Mohammed, Walter Samuel Nkanu Onnoghen, Ibrahim Tanko Muhammad, Muhammad Saifullah Muntaka-Coomassie.
 Others were Justices John Afolabi Fabiyi, Sulaiman Galadima, Bode Rhodes-Vivour, Nwali Sylvester Ngwuta, Mary Ukaego Peter-Odili, Olukayode Ariwoola, Musa Dattijo Muhammad, Clara Bata Ogunbiyi, Kumai Bayang Akaa K. M. O. Kekere-Ekun and Inyang Okoro.
 The Director-General of NIMC, Barrister Chris Onyemenam was also accompanied for the flag-off exercise at the Supreme Court by Cecilia Yahaya (Director Operations); Femi Shotayo, (Director Special Duties); Winifred Ojeih (Director Human Capital Management); Ibrahim Abdullahi (Director Finance and Investment); Hadiza Ali Dagabana (Board Secretary); Carol Ojukwu (Head of Legal) and Abdulhamid Umar (Deputy Director, Corporate Communications).
