NBA committee restores Kunle Ogunba SAN

The Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee (LPPC) of the Nigerian Bar Association (NBA) has restored the rank of Senior Advocate of Nigeria back to Mr. Kunle Ogunba, with all its privileges.

This was contained in a letter dated September 20, 2018, which was signed by the Chief Registrar of the Supreme Court/Secretary, Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee, Hadizatu Uwani Mustapha, and made available to newsmen.

The rank was restored following Ogunba’s letter of September 11, 2018, in which he presented to the Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee attached documents in compliance with the conditions laid down in paragraph 27 of Legal Practitioners’ Privileges Committee Guidelines 2018.

The Committee said that after a careful consideration of the letter and accompanying documents, it found the character references to be valid and the applications for review granted.

The Committee therefore advised the Senior Advocate of Nigeria to conduct his case(s) in the best tradition.
