The Nigerian Bar Association (NBA), Ilọrin branch, has called for collaboration with Senator Saliu Mustapha in deepening of democracy and constitutionalism in Nigeria.

The Ilọrin Bar sought the collaboration in a statement by its chairman, Sulyman Muhammed Hassan Kosemani, on Saturday in Ilọrin to appreciate Mustapha’s role during its just concluded Annual General Conference (AGC) in Lagos.

The chairman noted that the gesture underscores his longstanding commitment to the legal profession, particularly within the Ilorin Branch.

He said Mustapha’s decision demonstrates his long standing commitment to the legal profession, particularly within the Ilorin Branch.

According to him, the development further “highlighted the branch’s anticipation of continuing its positive relationship with the senator towards working together to promote democracy, constitutionalism, justice, and the rule of law in Nigeria”.

Kosemani said the Kwara Central senator has “consistently shown himself to be a true friend of the Bar. His unwavering support for our members and the branch as a whole is deeply appreciated”.

“The association acknowledged the pivotal role Senator Mustapha played in ensuring the successful participation of its members through transportation and accommodation of registered members to fully engage in the landmark event”, he submitted.
