The commission also maintained that the key objectives of DAP is to prepare the nation for digital tomorrow and equip the youth with the necessary skills to tap into the potentials of the digital age.
Speaking at the commissioning of one of the DAP located Girls Senior High School, Agege Local Government Area, Lagos State, the Executive Vice Chairman of NCC, Dr Eugene Juwah said the initiative is aimed at impacting digital knowledge unto the Nigerian youths with a catch them young approach.
According to Juwah who was represented at the event by the commission ‘s Director, Human Capital and Infrastructure (Development), over 10,000 school girls drawn from five schools in Agege, Lagos State will benefit from the scheme.
He explained that the projects are part of the programmes which introduced by NCC to bridge the existing digital divide across the nation’s secondary schools.
