NCC tasks consumers on rights with service providers

The Nigerian Communications Commission (NCC) has sensitized mobile phone users in Kebbi State on their rights and claims in the event service providers fail to meet their demands.

Speaking at the sensitization programme in Birnin Kebbi, the Director, Consumer Affairs Bureau of the commission, Alkasim Abubakar Umar, said they were in the state to educate, inform and protect the rights of mobile phone users.

He said the commission had introduced a 622 toll-free code to report any customer call centre operator of a mobile network that failed to resolve consumer’s complaints.
