President Goodluck Jonathan, has approved the reappointment of Mr  John Kennedy Opara, as the Executive Secretary of the Nigerian Christian Pilgrim Commission (NCPC) for a second tenure of five years in accordance with the  NCPC Establishment Act of 2007.

A statement signed by the NCPC Special Assistant on Media, Mr Olajide Oshundun, said also approved is the reappointment of six members of the Board of the Commission with Most Rev. Dr. Nicholas D. Okoh as Chairman.

Members are Elder Dogara Akut, (North West); Deaconess Adefemi Taire, (South West), Archbishop Nemuel Babba, (North  East); Mrs Helen Ughoro, (North Central); Rev. Dr. Zion S. Ibenye, (South East); and newly appointed Pastor Mike Abrakata, (South South).

The appointments take effect today Monday, 24th June, 2013.
