The North Central People’s Forum (NCPF), yesterday, inaugurated six committees for the development of the region.
The committees, which have 44 members, are on youth empowerment, women’s development, media and publicity, economic development, and research, strategy, and planning.
The chairman of the forum, Engr. Sani Ndanusa, while inaugurating the committee in Abuja, called for a strategic voice to promote social security in the north-central region.
He said members of the six committees were drawn from different backgrounds to use their expertise to move the zone forward and boost its economic activities.
The secretary of the forum, Alhaji Khalid Bolaji, expressed confidence in the ability of the members of the six committees to deliver on the task assigned to them.
