In his address at the commissioning ceremony in Zuru, Magoro said the centre in collaboration with the National Directorate of Employment (NDE) will provide training for youths in various trades such as electrical installation, GSM repairs, catering, welding, plumbing, fashion design, computer operation and hair dressing saloon.  
“The centre is in collaboration with NDE and is expected to take off operation next month with 200 beneficiaries. We have also provided a 50 capacity Information Communication Technology (ICT) training centre in Zuru.
“The beneficiaries are expected to learn computer appreciation and other application as well as acquire basic knowledge of computer maintenance,” he added.
He said 35 tricycles and 22 motorcycles were also distributed to unemployed youths in Yauri and Zuru Emirates of Kebbi South Senatorial zone.
The senator said the programme is aimed at providing employment to the teeming unemployed youths and to ease the transport sufferings in the area.
The Emir of Zuru, retired Major General Muhammadu Sani Sami commended the effort of the senator and called on the beneficiaries to make judicious use of the programme.
