NDE trains Plateau youths on environmental beautification
The state NDE Coordinator, Malam Ibrahim Hardo Abdulazeez said the essence of the programme was to encourage the youth to be self-employed.
The National Directorate of Employment (NDE), has commenced the training of 34 Plateau youths on the Environmental Beautification Training Scheme (EBTS).
The youth, who were drawn from different communities of the state are expected to acquire the training and become self-reliant in their various society.
The state NDE Coordinator, Malam Ibrahim Hardo Abdulazeez said the essence of the programme was to encourage the youth to be self-employed.
Earlier, the Acting Director General of the scheme, Malam Abubakar Nuhu Fikpo, represented by Mrs. Beatrice Ordu, in his remarks, urged the participants to be serious and cooperate with their trainers.
One of the beneficiaries, Henry James, said she was happy that the government has come up with the programme as it will them to build their future.
