The spokesman of the agency in Kano, ASN Sadiq Muhammad Maigatari, said in a statement that among these significant seizures were over 5,000,000 tablets of Tramadol intercepted along Zaria-Kano Road in a single seizure, disrupting the supply chain and significantly reducing the availability of the harmful substances in the state.
He said during the command’s “Operation Hana Maye,” over 20 drug joints in notorious areas such as Filin Idi, Dan Agundi, Sani Abacha Youth Centre, and Sani Abacha Stadium, were successfully dismantled.
