The Jigawa state command of Nigerian Drugs Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), has arrested two persons with over a million naira counterfeit money.

The commander of the command, Josephine Obi, who made the disclosure to Daily Trust at the weekend said the suspects, Tukur Abdullahi and Idi Mohammed were arrested along Gumel road while heading to Kano. She added that the suspects who confessed to the crime said the money was supplied to them from Lagos.

She said the sum of N898,000 was found on Abudllahi while N307,000 was found in possession of Mohammed.

She said as soon as they had completed their investigation, the culprits would be handed over to the appropriate sister agency for possible arraignment.
