NDLEA arrests drug trafficker with 4.5gm of cocaine in Anambra

The National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA), Anambra State, has arrested one suspected drug dealer, Sunday Nwankwo, with drugs suspected to be cocaine weighing 4.5 grammes.

The Commander of NDLEA in the state, Sule Momodu, confirmed that the suspect has been remanded in Awka prisons after his arraignment before a Federal High Court in Awka.

He said the suspect, a 26-year-old man, was arrested at Kara Market, Atani road in Ogbaru Local Government Area of the state.

Momodu said the agency would continue to deal decisively with drug traffickers in the state.

He warned those in the business and those planning to go into it  to desist  for their own good as the agency would be brutal with them.

He commended the people of the state for rendering necessary support to the agency, especially providing information that has helped in fighting drug trafficking.
