Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) have arrested a Togolese woman for alleged drug trafficking at the Seme border in the Badagry area of Lagos.
A statement released on Sunday in Abuja by the NDLEA spokesman, Femi Babafemi, confirmed that officers intercepted the suspect on Friday at the departure tarmac.
Babafemi stated that the suspect had concealed 5,000 pills of Tramadol within her luggage.
In a related operation on Wednesday, a total of 1,040 kilograms of “skunk”—a potent strain of cannabis—were recovered from an uncompleted building at Akodo village, Seaside Eleko, in the Ibeju-Lekki area of Lagos. (NAN)
