NDLEA raids Kano hotspots, arrests 22

Operatives of the National Drug Law Enforcement Agency (NDLEA) in Kano State have arrested 22 suspects and recovered a substantial cache of assorted illicit substances, including cannabis sativa, rubber solution and various locally made arms.

The raids were conducted at Dan’agundi Construction Site, Gwangwazo area, Farm Centre area along Zaria Road, Tashar Rami, and Filin Idi in Kano.

NDLEA’s public relations officer in the state, Sadiq Muhammad Maigatari, said in a statement that the operation underscored the ongoing efforts to tackle drug trafficking and abuse in the state.
