The Grammy Award winner, after a meeting with Sall, said nearly 70 per cent of voters had shown that they wanted to see the back of the 85-year-old Wade when they cast their ballots in favour of opposition candidates in Sunday’s first round.
“The change is already there,” he said, adding that “now it is just a matter of putting it into action.” N’dour’s spokesman told journalists that Sall has already agreed to several unspecified demands and that the Senegalese music icon had made as a condition for his support.
