The National Examination Council NECO headquarters in Minna, Niger State, has donated two boreholes and learning materials to the Gidan Mangoro and Gbaganako communities in Chanchaga Local Government Areas of Niger State.
While commissioning the boreholes, the Registrar, Professor Abdulrashid Garba, said they were drilled to alleviate the problems of water shortage. He also presented learning materials to students of Day Secondary School, Gbada, Gidan, Mangoro, saying the idea was born out of NECO’s social responsibility to the host communities and effort in maintaining cordial relationship between them. He said three SS3 students who had earlier paid the sum of N11, 550.00 for the 2016 NECO Exam (June/July) were refunded their monies.
