From the time we are born till when we die, there are certain things required of us. Born in the late seventies, I grew up to know what was right and what was bad. I learnt certain values from my parents.
But now, everything seems to have changed; the culture of respect and common sense has been replaced with fun, entertainment and social media. Instead of our younger generation to learn the basic tenets of purposeful living from their parents and guardians, they turn to some unknown and un-trusted persons for information, people whose backgrounds and genuine intentions cannot be verified.
There is an urgent need for parents to act before things get totally out of control.
