How would the government negotiate with terrorists whilst the terrorists are killing and kidnapping innocent Nigerians?

As ordinary Nigerians are struggling every day to make a living they also face threats from bandits who kidnap and kill people.

Sadly enough, the government is negotiating with those ruthless and heartless people, which to me doesn’t make sense at all.

In many parts of the world, it is established that negotiation with terrorists and bandits only served to strengthen them.

Negotiations with bandits also sends a wrong signal that our security forces are losing their capability to protect lives and property.

The more you negotiate with terrorists the more others would engage in crimes.  Again, how do you expect other reformed youths to react to this idea of reconciling with terrorists?

In a nutshell, I would like to advise the federal government to re-strategise its security tactics in confronting these heartless people, instead of engaging in a dialogue with them.
