NERC remuneration packages

It is very disheartening to hear that a Chairman of a Commission (not mentioned in the Constitution) earning a salary of N83,000,000.00 (Eighty three million Naira) per year when the President of his country getting N3,510,000.00 (Three million, five hundred and ten thousand Naira), Chief Justice of the Federation N3,360,000.00 (Three million, three hundred and sixty thousand Naira), and Senate President N2,480,000.00 (Two million, four hundred and eighty thousand Naira)per year respectively.
There are two commission: National Salaries, Wages and Income and Revenue Mobilisation, Allocation and Fiscal Commissions which are mandated to determine pay packages of the public office holders, legislators, judicial and political class. What people do not know are the sources of funds of  NERC: they are derived from sales of power generating station (PGS) privatized which were wholly financed by federal, states and local governments and issuance of licenses for new powers stations. Proceeds from the sales of PGS should have been brought to the attention of National Economic Council chaired by the Vice President for sharing.
Instead NERC presumed that it is the commission’s fund, thus, buying N12,000,000,000.00 (Twelve Billion Naira) office complex and fixing unimaginable salaries and allowances for chairman and commissioners. Let NERC tell us how much profit they generated during the five years, N12,000,000,000.00 to N30,000,000,000.00? Thorough investigation must be carried out by the Federal Government before the looters get away with our money.
Federal Government of Nigeria should also ask the previous members to refund. A judge after retirement is not allowed to appear before any court of law up to the end of his/her life. Is he/she compensated for this restriction?
