Tungan Maje is a community located around Gwagwalada area of the Federal Capital Territory, with a population of about one million people.
The sad thing is that despite the large number of people living in that community, economic activities are grounded due to poor power supply.  
The community has continued to experience many power related challenges, most of which are addressed through communal efforts.
The community approached the Nigerian Electricity Regulatory Commission, for a solution to the problem, but that did not yield any result. 
We are therefore calling on NERC, the Chairman of Gwagwalada Area Council, the Minister of Power, Works and Housing, and other well meaning Nigerians to intervene in the matter and ensure that power is restored to the community.
