The Nigerian Educational Research and Development Council (NERDC) and Development Research and Project Centre (DRPC) have organised a seven-day workshop to develop teachers’ guide for the revised 34 trade subjects’ curriculum for senior secondary education.

In his opening remarks at the workshop held in Abuja, Tuesday, the Executive Secretary of NERDC, Prof. Isma’ila Junaidu, said the workshop would support teachers to deliver on the curriculum content.

“We are also aware that after the foundation has been laid with the provision of a good curriculum, actual implementation will not be achieved without the teachers knowing the nitty-gritty of the curriculum and the best approach for the delivery.”

Speaking earlier, the representative of DRPC, Hajiya Aisha Bello said participants would develop friendly teachers at the end of the workshop.
