Nestle appoints Independent non-executive director

Nestle Nigeria Plc has appointed an Independent Non-Executive Director, Mrs Juliet Ehimuan, and the appointment took effect from February 24.

Ehimuan was  the country manager for Google in Nigeria. With over 25 years of working experience, she has worked for several companies home and abroad, and some of the companies are Shell Petroleum Development Company (SPDC) and the Microsoft, United Kingdom.

She pioneered Strategic Insight Consulting Limited and was also appointed to become the General Manager of Chams Plc’s Strategic Business Unit.

Ehimuan is a graduate of the Obafemi Awolowo University where she bagged a degree in Computer Engineering. She also has a Postgraduate Diploma in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge in the United Kingdom, and an MBA from London Business School.

She has won several awards due to her contributions to technology and entrepreneurship such as the London Business school Global Women’s scholarship.

Ehimuan has received two scholarly awards -Selwyn College Scholar and Malaysian Commonwealth scholar while at the University of Cambridge. She also won the “IT Personality of the Year” award by the Nigeria Computer in 2012 and Marketing World Awards in 2016.

She is a fellow of the Cambridge Commonwealth society.
