Food and Beverage Company, Nestlé Nigeria has announced its unaudited results for the first quarter ended 31st March 2022 with gross earnings N 110.2 billion, a 26.3percent rise from the N87.3bn reported in Q1 2021.
According to a released by the company, profit after tax for the period stood at N18.0billion as against the N12.4billion recorded in Q1 2021.
The financial results were reviewed and approved by the Board of Nestlé Nigeria PLC during its meeting held on April 29.
Commenting on the results, the Managing Director, and CEO of Nestlé Nigeria PLC, Mr Wassim Elhusseini commended the efforts of the entire team for continuing to thrive under the current difficult business environment.
Elhusseini assured that the company will continue to focus on improving the business by empowering the people and ensuring continued supply of essential nutritious food and beverages to consumers while caring for host communities, business partners, and all collaborators across the value chains.
