The club’s Media Officer, Idris Malikawa, said that the six new players who have been recruited based on the recommendations of the Okey Emordi-led technical crew will add quality to the squad.
The new signings are: Nura Ibrahim and Muntari Ali who were signed from local teams in Kano. Bala Muhammad from Enyimba,Tochukwu Eson from FC Taraba, Moses Ocheje from Dolphins and Abawula Anthony from Bayelsa United.
Malikawa stated that the players had already passed the medical test and some of them joined the training session of the club at Kano Pillars Stadium in Sabon Gari.
“We know the second round would not be easy been the league leaders and the defending champions. That is why we are fortifying the team with additional players in order to make sure we achieve our target,” Malikawa said.
Four players have put on transfer in the club this mid-season while some had been served with warning letters for their low performances and other unacceptable behaviour during the first stanza.
The four players that had been placed on transfer are: Nura Muhammad, Henry Ezekiel, Ado Ali and Obi Eugene.
