Veteran Bollywood actor Shashi Kapoor died in Mumbai yesterday. He was 79. According to reports, the Bollywood legend was admitted to Mumbai’s Kokilaben Ambani Hospita on Sunday night where doctors said he had chest infection.
Shashi Kapoor, who was awarded the Dadasaheb Phalke Award in 2015, was reportedly battling old age related problems and under constant medical supervision.
Shashi Kapoor, born as Balbir Raj Kapoor on March 18, 1938, worked in over 175 films as an actor. He also produced several hit films like Junoon, Kalyug, Vijeta and Utsav.
