The Minister of the Federal Capital Territory, Muhammad Musa Bello, yesterday commissioned the Garki division of the FCT High Court for easy access to justice.

The minister, represented by the permanent secretary, Adesola Olusade, said the administration would continue to support the High Court to enhance its ability to function effectively. 

He said: “The role of judiciary in our fight against crime, criminality and adjudication in civil matters cannot be overstated in the face of rapid population growth of the FCT, which has led to the need for expanding judicial services.”

The Chief Judge of the FCT High Court, Justice Husseini Baba Yusuf, said the quest to establish the division was in line with the court’s institutional vision to make justice readily accessible to justice seekers in the territory.
