New Kannywood flick exposes ills of begging

The film touches on how low living condition mostly result in begging through, one of the characters, Hajara Usman, who found herself with her orphaned children in that position, prompting  her to go to the city in search of a better life.

Interestingly, when one of her children becomes Kano’s chief executive he bans begging because he has been exposed to it since he was orphaned.

Despite being persuaded to go to the city to beg, their livingconditions do not improve.

Duniya Mai Yayi  is another Hausa movie produced by Kumbo Productions  Limited and Directed by Mohammed Ahmed. The movie focuses on the scourge of rural/urban migration affecting the society today .

The film is about two young men, Aliyu and Hayatu, who want fame and end up instead being exposed to the harsh realities of life among which is hard labour, dejection, sexual abuses and other challenges.

The film goes hand in hand with the previous one produced by the same company titled Duniyarmu

The film showcases a very sensitive issue, the rural urban migration which government has failed to curb but the producers and the director have done a job good job.
