Supporters of the All Progressives Congress (APC) have launched a new movement to rally nationwide support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election bid in 2027.

Addressing newsmen in Abuja, the Convener of the movement, Barrister Medina Anako, said the initiative, known as the Fruits of Renewed Hope Initiative, was conceived to strengthen the bond between government and citizens through constructive engagement, civic education, and public enlightenment.

She explained that the movement’s primary goal is to help Nigerians better understand government policies under President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda, while promoting patience and optimism as the administration’s economic reforms take root.

“Economic reforms take time to yield results. We urge Nigerians to remain patient and supportive of President Tinubu’s policies, which are designed to stabilise the economy and improve citizens’ welfare,” she said.

She added that informed citizens are essential for a stronger democracy, stressing that active participation in governance enhances transparency and accountability.

Anako urged Nigerians to “reject cynicism and embrace optimism,” saying national challenges should serve as a unifying rather than divisive force.

“Let us focus on building, not breaking; on collaborating, not condemning. We must acknowledge the courage it takes to reform a system long burdened by inefficiency and complacency,” she added

According to her, President Tinubu’s administration has chosen “the path of responsibility over popularity, vision over comfort, and progress over politics.”

Anako clarified that the fruits of Renewed Hope Initiative is not a partisan structure but a civic movement designed to interpret and simplify government policies for ordinary Nigerians.
