Minister of the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Nyesom Wike, says the FCT Administration will showcase tangible development projects executed to transform the lives of residents in 2026.

Wike, who disclosed this in his new year message in Abuja on Thursday, added that the Administration would also commemorate the third anniversary of President Bola Tinubu administration in style.

He identified some of the executed projects earmarked for inauguration as rehabilitated schools, roads, bridges, health facilities, transportation hubs, and facilities for the judiciary.

Others, he said, include security infrastructure and other programmes that would impact the lives of FCT residents.

He said, “Through the Tinubu’s ‘Renewed Hope Agenda’, the FCT has witnessed unprecedented development across the territory; from the Abuja Municipal to far flung areas such as Abaji, Kuje and Kwali.

“As we look forward to a bright and prosperous new year, it is pertinent to remember that virtues of diligence, discipline, and determination are needed for the realisation of our collective goals.

‘I, therefore, encourage residents to imbibe these very important virtues and continue to be law-abiding as we navigate the year together.’’ (NAN)
