Senator Dino Melaye, a former lawmaker, has threatened to sell off his Tesla car if Elon Musk, Chief Executive Officer of Tesla Motors, does not stop “harassing” Vice-President Kamala Harris, ahead of the November 5 Presidential election in US.
Daily Trust reports that Musk, a strong supporter of Donald Trump, candidate of Republican Party in the election, has been hitting hard at Harris, who is the candidate of Democratic Party.
To show his love for Trump, the X owner has donated about $119 million in total to support the Republican presidential election campaign.
By mid-October, the Tesla boss had transferred $43.6 million to the organisation America PAC, which is primarily focused on winning hotly contested swing states such as Pennsylvania.

Between July and the end of September, Musk, who has also made appearances at numerous Trump rallies, had donated about $75 million.
Meanwhile, America PAC is continuing its controversial daily giveaway, handing $1 million per day to one registered voter at a time.
On Wednesday U.S. media reported that the U.S. Department of Justice had warned Musk the campaign could violate electoral law.
The campaign is set to run until Election Day on November 5. It is aimed at registered voters who sign a petition.
The petition is about “freedom of speech and the right to bear arms” and one can only sign as a registered voter in one of seven swing states, dpa reported.
According to the U.S. election law, it is illegal to pay citizens money to vote or register to vote.
Musk argued that the million-dollar gift was intended to attract more attention to the petition and is therefore legal.
If Elon Musk will not stop harassing Kamala H. I will sell my Tesla and advise my friends to do the same. America should not lose her pride as the global democratic police. Senator Dino Melaye

Moreso selling your car simply means transferring value… So Musk doesn’t lose anything… What you would have done instead is destroy the car… it would simply be an effort in futility! I will charge you for this free consultation sir.”
