NEWS EXTRA: I’ll marry any man that sends me fuel, says Waje

Nigerian singer, Aituaje Iruobe popularly known as Waje, has offered to marry any man that can give her fuel.

In what can be considered one of the worst fuel hardship in recent times, Nigerians are currently out on the streets, patronising black marketers or spending hours in filling station queues.

Waje, who is obviously among the millions of Nigerians affected by the development, took to her Twitter page on Friday morning to express frustration.

She tweeted, “I’ll marry any man that sends me Fuel. Seriously!!!!! For those asking for my hand in marriage, the most important item in the list is 100 liters of fuel. I can manage 50. In short my family will accept 25 sef.”

She gained recognition after being featured on the remake of P-Square’s “Omoge Mi”.

Waje was also featured on the duo’s 2008 hit track “Do Me”.

In 2016, she was one of the four judges in the inaugural season of The Voice Nigeria.
