Speaking at the unveiling of the application at the Kaduna State secretariat of the Nigerian Union of Journalists (NUJ), the coordinator of AMDF, Sekyen Dadik described the application as one of the first indigenous ones in northern Nigeria.  She said the application provided a platform for the general public to share stories or scoops with journalists and media organizations registered on the application page and give journalists insight into happenings around them.

In his remark, the chairman of the Kaduna State chapter of NUJ, Comrade Adamu Yusuf advised journalists, particularly those in online journalism, to take advantage of the initiative.
