The President of Abuja Newspaper Distributors Association (ANDA), Benji Obute has assured members of transparent and accountable leadership.

Obute was inaugurated yesterday alongside 11 executive members to steer the affairs of the association for two years.

“Our leadership shall be characterised by transparency, probity, and accountability where we shall on a quarterly basis be presenting to you our financial statements and state of affairs,” he said.

He said his administration will construct a befitting ANDA secretariat adding that “proper fencing of our premises with security wire to checkmate influx of destitute and ensure a high-security standard.”

The newly elected executives include J.S. Abu as vice president, Femi Emmanuel, general secretary; Benson Ejembi as financial secretary and Alhassan Ibrahim as treasurer.

Others are Eunice Gundare as welfare director, Abubakar Yakubu as assistance secretary; Uket Pillasco, PRO; George Joseph Evidic, Provost; Faith Ipogah, Provost II; Murtala Abdullahi, Provost III and Andrew Nwobodo as assistance financial secretary.
