The Nigerian Film Corporation (NFC) has announced call for entries for its 2017 Annual Film Essay Competition. Topic of the 2017 NFC Film Competition is, ‘Film as an Alternative to Oil in Wealth Creation and Employment’.
This was contained in a statement signed by Brian Etuk, Head, Public Affairs of NFC. The current prices for the winning essays are N250,000, N100,000 and N70,000 for the first, second and third best entries, respectively. This is an addition to rights of publishing the winning essays in journals as may be deemed necessary.
Interested participants are to forward their entries in the following format: Arial Font, 14 point size, typewritten in double line space and should not be more than 15 pages on A4 size paper.
Also, participants must be Nigerian nationals and above 18 years and below 25 years of age. Entries open on September 11, 2017 and close on October 31, 2017.
The Annual Film Essay Competition had its debut in 2005.
