On Wednesday morning, the NFF secretariat, Glass House, located at Wuse Zone 7, Abuja, gutted fire in a controversial circumstance.
It affected the offices of the General Secretary, Musa Amadu and the Chief Accountant, property worth thousands of naira.
Other members of the Executive Committee who were questioned by the police were the General Secretary, Musa Amadu, Christopher Green, Emeka Inyama and Yusuf Ahmed Fresh.
Acting President Mike Umeh had while reacting to the fire incident alleged sabotage and called on security agencies to probe the incident.
Umeh had told sports correspondents, “This fire incident is strange and unbelievable. What are they trying to hide?
“It is strange and sad. It goes to show the extent of corruption in the house that we are talking about.
“This fire incident is nothing but sabotage and I am urging the security agencies to bring those responsible to book.
“It is all part of the ploy for some people to perpetuate themselves in power”. He said.
