NFVCB encouraged new initiatives, and also urged existing and potential partners to jump on the platform which “is loaded with opportunities because the organizers have proven that this initiative is a worthwhile.”
Ms Patricia Bala, Director-General of NFVCB, reflected the past saying, “through the four years of its running, Homevida has responded positively and embraced the Federal Government’s Private Public Partnership (PPP) initiative to good effect.  The Board has noted that this programme has provided film development assistance to many young and budding film makers in Nigeria and played a significant role in the fight against poverty, drug abuse and corruption.
According to the DG, the Board has over the years developed trusted and open relationships based on the mutual respect and common interests for the growth of the film and creative industry. “I truly believe that the relationship is the key reason for our mutual growth and success,” she stated in her goodwill message.
“We want to note here that Homevida has also responded to the different challenges inherent in breathing life into this initiative and has been able to bring reputable organizations to partner with it and help create the necessary platform for the realization of the objective of the programme,” she further stated.
The event which holds on every December 9, which is the World Anti-Corruption Day,  is designed as a partnership between nonprofit, public and private organizations to promote core national and corporate values that are the foundation for nation building.
